A Storm Surge Barrier could protect New York City and New Jersey northern shorelines from future Superstorms, much like present-day storm battiers protect London, Holland, and Leningrad. Built along six mile stretch between Except for one shipping channel, the water between Breezy Point, New York and Sandy Hook New Jersey is 15 feet deep, at most and alreadfy has enough surrouinding sand, supplied by mother nature.
